Snapecast Challenge!

[info]snapecast is hosting a contest on [info]snapeartcontest, and our theme is:


Fandom Going Out Of Business Gray Underpants Sale!


We're just kidding about the fandom going out of business, but we're serious that your entries should include Snape and underpants or a reference to underpants, and that entries should be made using Artpad. You know the content we're wanting: wit, humor, snark, a little mystery...

[info]snapecast searched it's Gringott's vault to offer these luxurious and desirable prizes:
First Prize: A CD audio version of Order Of The Phoenix. It's the UK edition. Hear Stephen Fry read your favorite HP chapter, "Snape's Worst Memory"!
Second Prize: A quill Pen!
Third Prize: 3 months paid lj time, or equivalent gift certificate!

[info]snapecast staff may post artwork, but are not eligible to win prizes. This means you, [info]snarky_the_owl! Everybody else, get to work on your winning artwork!

Entries must be received by April 24, midnight EST. Winners will be chosen by the Snapecast staff, and their names will be announced on the May Edition of Snapecast, and on the [info]snapeartcontest May 1st.

An inspiring theme!

The Sallow-tone Boy

based on the Coppertone Girl. You can't see much of his underpants, but as anyone can tell you, I've developed a disturbing fascination with the unclothed Snape. That's really the joy of ArtPad for me, these days.

I don't think fandom is going out of business, it's just preoccupied since Snape forgot to put an unplottable charm on the brand-new Snape manor. He's making the best of it.

I hope it's obvious that this is a terrace/balcony of some kind (the solid stone kind :p) and that it's in the bird perspective? I don't even know why I drew it in that perspective as it would hardly change and become somewhat clearer if I depicted it normally from the front, but that's out of my control, I'm but a slave to the art! ;)

Yes, this explains it -- it's the iron from the cauldron turning those undies gray. Snape is really handsome in this drawing, by the way... hmmm.

Poor Snape: nobody's handling his undies. I could remedy that. (OK, I have to stop fantasizing now.)

Hello! I've been lurking in the shadows of this community and quite enjoying all the wonderful pieces people come up with every month. There's always something to look forward to and this contest has been no exception. I'm loving all the undie-pics and finally got an idea for one of my own:

I wish there were a way to show how big the grin on my face is after seeing your drawing. But there is! Hermione's expression mirrors my own perfectly, overjoyed and slightly deranged. Your Snape is superb (as always). This is pure hilarity.
